Halloween falls on a Saturday this year. Little Elm's biggest Halloween event comes the night before. Nightmare Over Little Elm Park: The Trilogy runs Friday, October 30, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. The busiest day of the month comes a week earlier. On Saturday, October 24, the town calendar has a morning race, a midday farmers market and a free movie after dark.
So if you're planning around October 31, you'll miss most of the season. The dates to plan around are October 24 and October 30. Nearly everything on both days happens along Eldorado Parkway and Main Street, a stretch that also has some of the town's newest places to eat.
A warm-up on October 17
LC Rocks plays Little Elm Park on Saturday, October 17, from 7 to 9 p.m. The Town also lists LC Rocks as the live music for Nightmare Over Little Elm Park two weeks later. If you'd like to hear the band at the park before the Halloween crowd arrives, the 17th is your chance.
Autumn Fest is already over. It ran September 17 through 20 at Little Elm Park, with carnival rides, live music and food vendors. Margarita Hut said on its social feed that it would pour frozen drinks and cold beer at the pavilion all weekend. Watch for the same local names to show up again later this month.
Saturday, October 24: Three events in one day
The Town has three events on its calendar for October 24, from early morning to after dark. The race and the market overlap by an hour, so you can plan the whole day around them.
| Time | Event | Where |
|---|---|---|
| 8 to 11 a.m. | 633 Run: 1-mile fun run, 5K and 6.33-mile race | Lobo Stadium |
| 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. | The Lakefront Farmers Market | The Lawn at The Lakefront, 125 Main St. |
| 7 p.m. | Free outdoor movie: "SCOOB!" | The Lawn at The Lakefront, 125 Main St. |
The 633 Run
The race distances have a story behind them. The 633 Run honors fallen Little Elm Police Officer Jerry R. Walker. The 6.33-mile race is named for his badge number, 633. Proceeds go to a student scholarship fund for public service. Along with that longer race, there's a 1-mile fun run and a 5K, so families with young children and serious runners can both take part.
Midday at The Lawn
The farmers market starts at 10 a.m. while the race is still running, and it goes until 2 p.m. at 125 Main Street. If you finish the 5K early, you can still make it to the market.
Evening on Main Street
At 7 p.m., the same lawn hosts a free showing of "SCOOB!" Tinman Social is just up Main Street at 199 Main St. Its website lists two restaurants and four bars under one roof, along with current hours. With that many options in one building, a mixed group can grab dinner together before the movie starts.
Friday, October 30: Nightmare Over Little Elm Park
The Town calls this event "The Trilogy." Little Elm Park, at 701 W Eldorado Pkwy, becomes what the Town describes as "a haunted lakeside full of eerie surprises, dazzling lights, and spine-chilling fun for the whole family."
According to the Town's event page, admission includes:
- Trick-or-treating
- Live music from LC Rocks
- Bounce houses
- A pumpkin drop from a fire truck
- Hayrides
- The drone and fireworks show
Food trucks, a bar and vendors will also be on site. The Town also promises a special performance for kids, but hasn't said what it is yet.
Tickets are sold on Eventbrite and at the gate. Parking is $10 per vehicle. As of early October, the Eventbrite listing shows prices from $0 to $23.11. The page didn't show which ticket types fall where in that range. Since the $10 parking fee is charged per car, one carload of neighbors pays it once, while three households driving separately pay it three times.
Because the event falls on Friday, Saturday the 31st is still open for neighborhood trick-or-treating or anything else your household has planned.
Where to eat near the park on Eldorado Parkway
Little Elm Park's address is 701 W Eldorado Pkwy. Many restaurants close to the park share just a few building addresses on the same road, which makes it easy to plan dinner before the gates open or a stop on the way home.
At 800 W Eldorado Pkwy
- Domingo, Suite 126. The restaurant's website lists hours and takes reservations.
- MrJims.Pizza. Its store page lists daily hours and current specials.
- Lakefront Energy, which serves teas, shakes, smoothies and coffee.
At 850 W Eldorado Pkwy
- Indraprastha Indian Kitchen and Bar, Suite 300. Its website offers online ordering, which helps on a night with a set start time.
- Margarita Hut. A recent post on its social feed advertises a "Haunted Hut" Halloween party from 7 to 11 p.m., with DJ C-Walk, happy hour and gift card prizes for the best costumes. The post doesn't give a date, so check with the restaurant before you go.
- Almost Home Taphouse, a craft beer taproom that hosts its own events.
Farther along the parkway
- Lakeside Pizza, Bar & Grill, 1000 W Eldorado Pkwy, Suite 800.
- Leo's Brunch House, 500 W Eldorado Pkwy, Suite 400. Its website lists a menu, a waitlist and daily hours. It's a good fit for breakfast after the 633 Run.
- Krab Kingz Seafood, 500 W Eldorado Pkwy, Suite 300, with dine-in, pickup and delivery.
- Fuzzy's Taco Shop, 407 W Eldorado Pkwy.
- Towers Tap House, 290 E Eldorado Pkwy, a restaurant and sports bar.
- Stella's Ice Cream, 303 E Eldorado Pkwy, Suite 200.
Many of these places took part in the Town's Lakefront District specials on Saturday, July 11, 2026. That list included Towers Tap House, Fuzzy's, Domingo, Indraprastha, Stella's, Margarita Hut and Lakefront Energy. Hours on event nights can differ from regular hours, so check before you head out on the 24th or the 30th.
New since spring
Two places opened in Little Elm this year, and both are on the roads you'd take to these events.
Angie's opened on June 5 at 2823 Eldorado Parkway, in the building that used to be a Bojangles. It's the Phoenix-based chain's second Texas location. At the June opening, Cross Timbers Gazette reported that the restaurant planned to offer its signature $4.99 fresh-cut salad and protein bowls starting at $6.99. The company says it prices its food at or below traditional drive-thru meals. The Gazette also listed burgers, house-made falafel, quesadillas, fried chicken and seafood. Prices can change, so check the current menu before you go. A quick drive-thru dinner before a 5:30 p.m. start time is a real need on October 30.
7 Brew Coffee at 2725 Little Elm Parkway held its grand-opening ribbon cutting with the Little Elm Chamber on August 31. The company's location page lists current hours for the stand. For anyone heading to the 633 Run's 8 a.m. start, a coffee stop could help.
One more is still pending. Earth Coffee announced plans for 305 E. Eldorado Parkway, Suite 320, with a target opening between late August and early September 2026. As of early October, the company's website lists only its Irving store, so the Little Elm opening hasn't been confirmed yet.
Planning around the two dates
Here is how the season lines up:
- October 17: LC Rocks at Little Elm Park, 7 to 9 p.m.
- October 24: 633 Run at 8 a.m., farmers market at The Lawn from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and "SCOOB!" at 7 p.m. Tinman Social is up the street at 199 Main.
- October 30: Nightmare Over Little Elm Park, 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., with $10 parking and tickets on Eventbrite or at the gate. Restaurants at 800 and 850 W Eldorado Pkwy are close by.
- October 31: Because the park event is the night before, Saturday stays open for your own Halloween plans.
